The Internet Society of
Mauritius (isoc-mu.org) organised its second activity intended
for the public in general.
The Internet Month was celebrated in June - August 2001 and ISOC-MU got the
collaboration of the Municipality Of Port Louis
to make this event a success.
The Opening Ceremony was held on Thursday 7th June at 5:00 P.M by
the Lord Mayor at Camp Yoloff Municipal Polyvalent Centre.
The
ISOC-MU team went to several places, starting 9th of June and ending 4th of
August, with the objective of conducting initiation sessions for the public
on how to use the Internet.
